Writing a script is harder than I first thought but I did enjoy the process of breaking through the way I thought it should be. Firstly we analysed Antigone and how characters have to go on a journey to create a story. The Hero's journey is a cycle in life that we can all enter into. We incorporated a lot of drama techniques into our process, wanting to bring our words off the page. Playing around with text and scenes, we were able to see how things are perceived by an audience.

There was a lot of writing, drafts and re-writing involved in this process. I really enjoyed getting to know how to craft a story. I would like to learn further in this field and refine my skills. I appreciate the work it takes to make a script. I want to explore more techniques that directors and script writers use when moulding a piece.
